Business Advisory Centre Durham (BACD)

The Business Advisory Centre of Durham Inc. (BACD) is a non-profit resource centre providing business start-up and development services for small- and medium-sized enterprises. It serves as a regional resource centre for businesses in all sectors. The centre's new Web site offers comprehensive information and resources to better assist northern communities and provide 24/7 access for clients.

(BACD) receives funding through a cost-sharing partnership between Durham Region's Economic Development and Tourism Department and the Ministry of Small Business and Entrepreneurship.

(BACD) is becoming increasingly known as a 'one-stop-shop' for entrepreneurs and existing small business owners with 10 employees or less. It provides a number of young entrepreneur programs such as, Summer Company, Business Plan Competition and The Canadian Youth Business Foundation (CYBF).
