North Durham Site Selector Packages 
The Economic Development and Tourism Department collaborated with the townships of Brock, Scugog and Uxbridge to prepare information packages for individuals and companies interested in relocating to North Durham. The full-colour package contains maps of available employment lands; information related to employment statistics and taxes; development charges and utility rates; as well as key contacts. The packages can be downloaded by clicking on the links below and print copies are available at the municipal offices and Durham Regional Headquarters.
Durham Rural Broadband Connections
The objective of the Region of Durham broadband project is to increase the competitive advantage of the Region's three northern, rural municipalities by providing and efficient, affordable and reliable broadband/High Speed Internet access. The first phase of servicing was completed in the fall of 2008 and provided service to the second phase of the major industrial park in Uxbridge as well as service to the industrial park in the Township of Scugog. Service was also provided to the Township of Brock. Upon completion of the first phase of servicing a survey was sent out to all residents and businesses in each of the three municipalities in an attempt to identify service gaps. The results of the survey were compiled and plotted on maps. A list of current service providers was also compiled.

The Business Directory provides a complete listing of Durham Region’s organizations, businesses, schools, tourist attractions, churches, agencies and government offices.
Durham Energy Cluster Study
The Durham Energy Cluster Study was undertaken to compile information on Durham’s energy assets; formally investigate Durham’s position locally and globally in the energy sector; identify positioning opportunities; and develop an action plan for incorporation into the economic development program.
Feasibility Study for a Biodiesel Refining Facility
A Feasibility Study was conducted to assess the probability of establishing a biodiesel production facility in the Region of Durham.
Durham Business Times: Regional Review
The Economic Development and Tourism Department co-ordinates a full-page advertising feature that is published monthly in the Durham Business Times. This piece highlights departmental initiatives, events and business happenings.
Key Sector Profiles
Durham Farm Fresh
In partnership with Durham Region Farm Fresh Marketing Association, this publication features an alphabetical directory and a map of Durham’s farms, farmers’ markets and restaurants that use local products. It also contains a list of products grown in the region and their seasonal availability.
Discovery Guide
Durham Tourism’s largest publication is its annual Discovery Guide, a printed booklet of activities, events and attractions, as well as places to stay and eat at in the region.
Garden Destinations Brochure
This brochure provides a listing of the garden destinations in Durham Region. It includes a detailed map with garden locations and a brief description of each listing with contact information, address, hours of operation and cost.
Discover Durham Region’s Trails
Durham Tourism created the publication to promote Durham Region’s trails. It was developed in partnership with Durham Lives, Durham Region Health Department and the Corporate Information Services (CIS) - IT Department at the Region of Durham. It features a detailed map with a clearly marked trail route.

The guide contains all the information you will need to film in Durham including: government services and contacts, policies and permits, maps, location photos and business and
production service listings.
