The Durham Region Economic Department and the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) are offering a
free information seminar to help manufacturing businesses make a smooth transition to the
Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) in time for July 1, 2010. A CRA representative will discuss the
transitional rules for HST and a Ministry of Revenue speaker will address the wind-down of PST.
Handouts will be provided to further equip the participants with the knowledge and support to successfully implement HST.
